For over thirty years…

We have been helping people donate for the Food Bank Network of Somerset County. Thanks to you, in these years we’ve provided over 2 million pounds of food for hungry people in our local communities.

If you’re a resident of Somerset County NJ, you may remember seeing the bright orange plastic bags on your recycling cans in May/June which you could fill with nonperishable foods and leave out with your recycling knowing that the food- needy would receive your donation.

June is still our month to raise cans of food. Our orange bags on your recycling bin have given way to a CAN CHALLENGE. We are making a replica of the Washington House in Basking Ridge, out of over 12,000 food cans. This is our challenge.  The architects and engineers have done their part and now is the time for Corporations, Small Businesses and Individuals to join our team.

From marketing to fund raising to construction to the big reveal, June 14, 2026. There are many ways you can join our team … and you will make a difference in so many lives. 13,000 cans go a long way in helping to fill the shelves of our Food Banks and local pantries.
